Abstract

Aeolian samples from deserts in northern Significant other were studied using the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) of crystal and potassium (K) feldspar separates. K-feldspar has shown advantages monitor quartz for dating samples former than 100 years, due about its more homogeneous equivalent dispense (D e ) values, preferred internal dose rate and predominant luminescence sensitivity to dose. Outofdoors additional measurements, the luminescence financial aid of quartz obtained in Recycle e determination procedures can well used to reveal the wellspring material and/or quartz thermal account for the deserts in arctic China. The results indicated go the duration of paleosol pointer in desert areas reflects limited paleoenvironments.
